Australians Probably Eat Too Much Meat

In Australia, there is a saying that chicken is for vegetarians. The joke is understandable if you know just how much meat Australians eat. Worldwide, the average person eats over 30kg of meat per year, but Australians eat closer to 93kg a year per person, making the country the second biggest consumers of meat on earth. Researchers are now asking whether that much meat-eating is good.
